Care Network

The Care Network is a centralized tool to report concerning incidents or observations of student behavior. On the AU portal under "Life @ AU," there is an option to submit a "Care Network" report.

The report is a simple form that, based on the type of concern selected, will immediately alert the appropriate student support services office. From there, they will directly contact the student and only follow up with you if more information is needed. However, in most cases you will not be contacted about the matter due to privacy laws.

Some of the types of concerns addressed are:

Academics                                                                      Mental Health                                              Other Concerns

Academic Integrity Violation                                Anxiety Concerns                                             Bias

Poor/change in performance                              Odd Behavior/Acting Out                                Sexual Assault
