  1. Technology Tools for Remote Work
    1. All technology remote work resources can be found on https://www.american.edu/telework.
  2. OIT Support
    1. OIT has training sessions on various topics related to remote working. Register to attend via https://www.american.edu/training/tech.cfm.
  3. Microsoft Teams
    1. Microsoft Teams is AU’s Office 365 resource for virtual meetings, calls, and text messaging. For more information, watch the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=Cy2kElHDxV0&feature=youtu.be.
    2. Microsoft Teams accounts can be upgraded to support Dial-in to virtual meetings. Please email helpdesk@american.edu and request Web Conferencing with Dial-In if needed.
    3. For Audio Only conference call numbers, please complete the Telephone Configuration change request form and choose the option for Conference Audio Bridge Code Request.
  4. Zoom for Web Conferencing
    1. The university has recently procured a campus-wide license of Zoom, which you can now use as an option for web conferencing. With this license, you are able to host meetings with a size limit of 300 participants with a duration of up to 24 hours.

    2. If you visit https://american.zoom.us, you can configure your account by clicking the Sign in button. After you've logged into the website, you can then download, install, and launch the Zoom application and choose Sign in with SSO to log in with your AU credentials.
